The Seiser Alm is one of the last places where cars (almost) don’t matter... perhaps not in the entire world, but have you ever visited a holiday destination where there is no road traffic whatsoever? Nonetheless, the Seiser Alm is easy to reach. You can find everything you need to know regarding your arrival on this page.
Take the train to the main station in Bozen or to Brixen. From there, take the regional bus 170 and get off at the stop called ‘Seis Abzweigung Umlaufbahn’. From here, take the Seiser Alm cable car up to the mountain pasture and then take the Seiser Alm bus to Saltria, where we will pick you up with our shuttle.
You can fly directly to Bozen with the South Tyrolean airline SkyAlps. Other nearby airports include Innsbruck, Verona, Munich and Milan. From there, you can continue by train, bus and the Seiser Alm cable car or hire a car.
The Seiser Alm is closed to private cars. Before your holiday with us begins, we will send you a driving permit that will allow you to drive as far as Saltria. Once you arrive there, you can park your car in our underground garage free of charge and take a seat in our Zallinger Shuttle.
Yes, you can even reach us on foot! Experienced hikers often make their way from Val Gardena, explore the Langkofel and Plattkofel peaks, and then descend via the Plattkofel hut to the Zallinger Dolomites.
The Zallinger Dolomites cannot be reached by private car, which means your vehicle gets to enjoy its own little holiday in our underground garage in Saltria.
From there, our Zallinger shuttle takes you directly to us at the Zallinger Dolomites. In summer, it is a comfortable minibus for a smooth and scenic ride. In winter, our snowmobile turns the journey into a truly unforgettable experience. Of course, the Zallinger shuttle will take you back down again, when it is time to head home.
