A taxi that is not one and the most beautiful end of the world

Slowly, we really have to come up with something. But somehow we have only ourselves to blame for our misery, for one of the biggest misunderstandings between us and new guests: it's about our alpine taxi. Which is not really a taxi at all, because one would be ready and waiting to take people wherever they want to go. But the reality is different: The Almtaxi is primarily there to take you from Saltria up to us at the beginning of your holiday. And then back down again. It's not as if you don't have the opportunity to go down into the valley with us in between. But not on command. So in the coming days we will retire to the think tank and look for a new name for our alpine taxi. If you have any ideas, please let us know.

A soft spot for blondes - why we are so fond of Haflingers

We have to warn you at this point: once we start talking about our Haflingers, we don't stop any time soon. So think twice about whether you really want to talk to us about our horses on your next holiday at the Zallinger. Because hardly anything evokes as much enthusiasm and palpitations in us as our "blondes". There is an unspoken rule among horse people: Either you love Haflingers. Or you don't. Three guesses as to which category we belong to. In general, we can only smile at all those who talk about our Hafis with their nervous Thoroughbreds and trouble-prone Warmbloods. Because you first have to find a horse breed that can do everything and looks so outrageously good.

Safe at the Alpe

Slowly but surely we are returning to a certain normality in our everyday life. After the lockdown, the situation in South Tyrol relaxed again. Thanks to the vastness and idyll, despite the pandemic, we enjoyed life as we were used to: with many quiet moments, time for ourselves, hikes and a wonderful mountain backdrop.
