Like candyfloss – that’s precisely what the Seiser Alm looks like in winter: white, soft and delightful ... at least when looking at it and exploring. However, of course, you can also simply let a snowflake melt in your mouth. Discover the snowy landscape to your heart’s content during one of the many winter activities, ranging from hiking to tobogganing or cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.
60 km of prepared winter hiking trails adorn the Seiser Alm. Lace up your winter boots or borrow our snowshoes free of charge – the glistening world is waiting to be explored. Leave fresh tracks, pluck branches to let it snow or write love messages in the snow.
Ski until you can feel your calves burning up. Carve until all you see is the powder snow whirling behind you. Enjoy yourself to the fullest on the Seiser Alm’s pistes. Counting the ski resort Gröden, a total of 181 kilometres of pistes awaits you. Blue, red or black pistes – everyone will find their favourite run here.
The fun starts right outside the door – on the “Zallinger Dolomites” toboggan run, the longest and perhaps most beautiful on the entire Seiser Alm. The moment you take your first turn, you will feel what makes this winter thrill so special: the rush of speed, the crunch of snow beneath the runners, and the kind of laughter that lingers long after. Our personal highlight: when the moon is out, your host Luisa invites you to join her for a magical toboggan ride under the stars.
You love whizzing down the slopes, but every now and then you just want to glide leisurely over the snow? The majority of the cross-country ski trails at Seiser Alm are located in Compatsch, but if you only want to take short spin on your cross-country skis, the manageable trails in Saltria will do the trick.
